Sibille, Tanner and Fillingim New Grant

Elucidating Factors Contributing to Disparities in Neurobiological Vulnerabilities and Alzheimer’s Disease & Related Dementias Risk

Congratulations to Drs. Kimberly Sibille, Jared Tanner and Roger Fillingim on funding of their Alzheimer’s Focused Administrative Supplement to the  Pain Relief for OsteoArthritis through Combined Treatment (PROACT) study. The project will investigate relationships between chronic pain, socioenvironmental factors, dispositional traits, and brain structural and functional measures contributing to disparities in neurobiological vulnerabilities and increased Alzheimer’s disease and related dementias risk.
